2013 Futures for Kids 5K Run/Walk
Hello and welcome to the home of the 2013 Futures for Kids 5K Run/Walk being held on Saturday October 26, 2013 in Raleigh, North Carolina. The mission of Futures for Kids is to connect students to Career Coaches and businesses across North Carolina through our online career exploration program. We equip middle and high school students with the tools necessary to succeed in the 21st Century workplace, while enabling employers to build a steady pipeline of talented, local labor. |

Entrants have a choice of entering as either a competitive or recreational entrant. The competitive entrants will receive an official time and will be eligible for awards. Recreational participants will not receive an official time, but can see their finishing times on a digital clock at the finish line. Participants also have a chance to raise additional funds for the Futures for Kids mission through your personal event page developed during registration. Our program is offered free of charge to all students and schools through fundraising efforts like this. We hope you will help us promote this event to all your friends and co-workers for a great cause. Our goal is to also host a Career Fair Expo with local companies to share information about their careers with our many students.
